Fort Worth, Texas – Bo French announced today that he will run in the Republican Runoff for the Texas Railroad Commission against the incumbent. He gave great thanks to his supporters and called on them to help finish the battle in the May Runoff.
In a crowded field of 5 candidates, Chairman French has emerged as the clear conservative choice to face incumbent James Wright in the runoff, tying the six-year incumbent for 1st place. He has been clear from Day One that this race is about replacing a pro-DEI, Democrat-donating Republican with a real America First Republican.
In response to the election results, Chairman French issued the following statement: “Texas Republicans have made their voices loud and clear. ‘Republicans’ who donate money to and collaborate with Democrats, and who promote DEI in our government, do not belong in the Republican Party. The voters have made clear that they reject Democrat Donor Jim Wright and want a real conservative at the RRC. They will finally get that on May 26th.”
Chairman French is incredibly grateful to over half a million patriots who made their choice clear at the ballot box, and to those who contributed their time, talent, treasure, and prayers to the campaign, and encourages them to keep fighting until the May 26th runoff.
He also thanked the other challengers in the race for stepping up, saying: “The fact that this race is headed to a runoff shows that Texans are fed up with Jim Wright. I thank them for helping spread the word, and ask them to unite behind me in the runoff to seal the deal and restore real Republican leadership to the Railroad Commission.”
